Hey!

My name is Lucas Cattapan and im an audio designer and engineer.

I work across game audio, post-production, recording and I love to challenge myself and breathe emotion into everything that I do. Whether I'm building a soundscape from scratch, cleaning up a dialogue track, or implementing audio in Wwise, I bring the same energy to all of it.

Wwise

I've completed all of Wwise's official certification programs and worked through the Wwise Adventure Game in its entirety — putting every integration tool to use in a real project context. It's the kind of hands-on practice that really solidifies the fundamentals.

Audio post-production and sound design

I've been working in both Pro Tools and Reaper for a number of years, and I've learned to leverage the strengths of each depending on what the project needs. My favourite part of the process is building something from my own recordings — capturing raw material and shaping it into something that feels alive. It's a craft I'm constantly refining, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Education

My training in Sound Technologies at Cégep de Drummondville gave me hands-on experience across the full audio spectrum — from studio recording and mixing to post-production and live sound reinforcement.

It's also where I discovered my passion for game audio and dove deep into Wwise, learning how to bring sound to life inside an engine and make it react to the world around it.
